Oh My Matahari

Matahari Flapper Hair Fascinator

This vintage inspired head fascinator comes from the influence of a Dutch exotic dancer, courtisan and accused spy with a stage name called Matahari. This flapper head piece has a touch of my romantiscm and suitable for this century brides. It is lightweight and comfortable. The gorgeous handmade flowers are in silk, organza and feathers. It is adorned with faux pearls and sparkling rhinestones. Vintage lace trim around the head. Little embroidered flowers over the top and as fringes cascade down. The other side is adorned with handmade chiffon and organza flowers, decorated with 2 strands of pearls. Goes well with my flapper dresses.

Treasured laces

Panthea Dress

This dress is created for a goddess in mind. Hence, the name Panthea....god of all gods in greek. I gathered all the white laces I had bought long time ago which was forgotten in one corner from my Alibaba fabric cave. I treasured them so much that I even felt a bit of pain in cutting theses gorgeous laces. Quickly, this little agony turns into a satisfying creation. Voila, I am proudly to present my latest masterpiece Panthea Dress with 3 differents laces and full chiffon skirt with rhinestone sash belt. Checkout my favourite part which is the back in invisible tulle, adorned with many floral laces.

Roaring Twenties

Delphine Dress

I created Delphine Dress after watching the film 'The Artist'. I was in love with the fashion from the Roaring Twenties....the image of a fashionable flapper but I wanted a touch of my romantiscm. Then, I created Delphine.

Voila, here is the short version of Delphine Dress.

Here is the long version of Delphine Dress.

Another version with double tiers of skirts as a special request from a German client.

And, finally a photo provided by my beloved french client in my very own Delphine Dress.

Black And White Challenge

BRITTANY DRESS

My client Brittany requested to design a dress for her special ten year anniversary dinner party at a romantic restaurant with a black and white theme. The theme is very tricky. It is not easy to design a dress with such strong contrast yet to have a romantic feel in it. I make a few sketches and finally here is the final sketch.....she loved it:)

The dress is made of floral black lace with interesting criss crossed straps adorned with rhinestones (shines better in the light than my photo). Top back lace is transparent. Asymetrical layered lace and black tulle for the bottom skirt. A large chiffon strap to tie to the back. Handmade flowers dangling down on the side waist for a romantic look. At the end of the process, I decided to add some handmade flowers on the sweetheart neckline to give it a little more 'dramatic' feel as I want my client to stand out in the dinner party without over-exaggerating. Thanks Brit for giving me a chance to design this lovely dress. I am very happy with the outcome and I can't wait to see the photo of my client in the dress:)
