Trip to Pezenas...city of Molière

I just came back from Pezenas and discovered the work of Melanie Bourget and Alexandre Bour. 

The work of Melanie Bourget is centered on the human figurative sculpting, in a modern style, between realism and dreams, using raku method. Absolutely fabulous!

Un grand coup de cœur! Très belle découverte à Métiers d'Art de Pézenas. Le travail de Mélanie Bourget est centré sur l’être humain : des modelages figuratifs, dans un style actuel mais un peu décalé, oscillant entre réalisme et onirisme, auxquels elle fait ensuite passer l'épreuve de la cuisson raku.

The creations of Alexandre Bour are made of twisting copper which turns into figure. There is a sense of whimsical in each of his creations. His work is now displayed at Pezenas.
